Bula's Origin Story

Laura Carpenter founded Bula in 2010, with the name “Bula” inspired by a trip to Fiji. Bula, which comes from a Fijian greeting that translates to “good life, health, and happiness,” was created to help pharmacy clients easily track pharmacy laws and regulations, making life easier for them. Laura recognized the need to simplify legislative tracking, allowing clients to feel confident that they are up to date and in compliance with the most recent laws and regulations, avoiding any fines.

Bula assists pharmacies of all sizes and types in staying current on pharmacy laws and regulations, serving 80% of U.S. pharmacies. In 2021, Bula was acquired by TRC Healthcare and continues to expand.
