Journal of Clinical Medicine: Clinical Utility of Definitive Drug-Drug Interaction Testing in Primary Care
As a follow-up to the baseline paper, “Improving Clinical Practice Using a Novel Engagement Approach: Measurement, Benchmarking and Feedback, A Longitudinal Study”, this QURE study was used to support a positive coverage decision for the test. In this case, we were looking at the impact of a new drug-drug interaction (DDI) test on the ability of physicians to recognize the DDI and respond accordingly. This quantified the clinical utility of the test by showing significant improvements in diagnostic accuracy and appropriate treatment planning among physicians with access to the test results.
