Journal of Hospital Medicine: Reducing Unneeded Clinical Variation in Sepsis and Heart Failure Care to Improve Outcomes and Reduce Cost: A Collaborative Engagement with Hospitalists in a MultiState System
This QURE project included practicing hospitalists across 8 facilities in 5 states. This study had a quasi-experimental control group which allowed us to isolate the magnitude of the QURE impact, which delivered >$2M in annual savings above and beyond improvements seen from other system-level initiatives.
