As a practicing pharmacy leader, he possesses extensive knowledge of automation assessment and optimization, use of data to innovate pharmacy and enhance operational processes, facility and clean room technology and design, controlled substances and drug diversion, medication safety, emergency preparedness and innovative models for pharmacy technician education. Matt has recently served as the President of the North Carolina Pharmacists Association. Additionally, he is a lead surveyor for ASHP/ACPE Pharmacy Technician Accreditation Commission and Senior Consultant for ASHP Consulting.
